The Architecture
One of the few remaining historical buildings of Caldaro, Marktplatz 10, represents an example of typical local architecture.
During every renovation, we have tried to preserve as many original features as possible. Some of these include the old ‘loggia’ that today has been transformed into a dining area; the old wooden doors; and a carefully restored 400 years old wooden floor.
Craftsmanship & Sustainability
During the refurbishment of Marktplatz 10, we worked with some of the region’s most skilled artisans that carry on old traditions.
In order to reduce our carbon dioxide emissions and respect the original architecture of the building, the apartment does not offer air conditioning. Silent, energy-efficient fans are provided during warmer months.
